Welcome to our kindergarten classroom in Brandenburg, Kentucky. I am so excited to embark on this joyful learning adventure with you and your child, building confidence, curiosity, and lifelong friendships along the way.
My journey to teaching
I have always known in my heart that I wanted to become a teacher. While life took a few detours along the way and I got a later start, this exciting first year in the classroom fulfills a lifelong dream. Every single child who enters my room brings something special, and I am honored to help them take their very first steps in formal education.
Fostering an "I can" attitude
In our classroom, the most important values we cultivate are self-worth and an unstoppable "I can" mindset. I want every student to feel capable, valued, and fearless when trying new things. When children believe in themselves, there is nothing they cannot accomplish.
Beyond the classroom
When I am not in the classroom, I am a proud cheer and football mom cheering on my kids. I love cozying up with a good book and watching sports. Whenever it is time for a family getaway, my favorite vacation destination is sunny Myrtle Beach, South Carolina!
